XMAS Special - Gift Shopping Tips

XMAS is fast approaching and there are many things that I have started listing down to buy. I so hate to get caught up in the Christmas shopping spree that is hitting come next month.

I have to admit though making a list of things to do is a bit hard and trying to figure out what is good and what is not while deciding on who has been naughty and nice is a bit hard. But the best way to start is to make a list. Here are the things to consider when making that XMAS Shopping list:

• What is your budget - always make sure that you start with this first otherwise you shall end up in debt by the time your thirteenth month comes in. Besides working around a budget can be fun. Think of Amazing race :)
• Who is important to you - People should know who is most important to them. It can be a list of close family members and friends or even colleagues at work. Start with those that are really close to your heart and work your way from their. You can already start allotting a budget for each of them.
• Ask them - trying to figure out what to get can be such a hassle and the best resource person to ask is the person that is receiving the gift. Now don't be so outright and ask them what they want. You might not be able to afford it. So to play on the safe side ask them all to make a list of five of the things that they would want to have for xmas and have them arrange it based on priorities and cost. You not only save time and money but you have them in suspense wondering which of those items would you be giving them.

With all that being said always make sure that the true meaning of xmas is the spirit of love, joy, and giving with your heart without expecting anything in return. Till the next tip. xoxo
